Guangdong-province/Guangzhou/2010-jul

My first visit to Guangzhou in July 2010 was, quite honestly, a bit of a chaotic experience. I never really managed to find my bearings or figure out where to go. My impression at the time was that the city lacked a clear center or a grand main square, unlike the other few cities I had visited back then. I believe I only stayed for a couple of days before catching the train to Hong Kong.
I still manage to stay at two different hotels from 8-10. of july :-) I think the first night was at Marriot -which I found too busy, and then I changed for a smaller hotel near the river side.
